Lab Manual

The CPO Focus on Life Science lab manual contains 36 hands-on labs, nine Lab Skills activities and step-by-step instructions for setting up the CPO Science equipment and conducting the investigations. The investigations help a diverse student population learn key concepts through exciting explorations that stimulate cooperative learning. Your students explore science processes, design and conduct their own experiments, and investigate key life science topics. These activities are effective for students of all ability levels as well as those who are learning English or speak it as a second language.

This manual is coordinated with the student textbook, teacher's guide, and lab equipment providing two hands-on investigations for every chapter in the student text. This format is designed to help you teach science concepts through inquiry and makes preparing and conducting the lessons easier.
