CPO Science Physical Science - Grade 8
Investigations Manual
The Physical Science Investigations Manual
contains 34 hands-on investigations, 9 Lab Skills activities,
and information on how to setup the CPO Science equipment. Students
explore the properties of matter, chemistry, motion and force,
and astronomy. The investigations teach students how to collect
and analyze data, draw inferences, and deduce important relationships.
Students also learn how to design and conduct their own physical
science investigations. The investigations provide a "guided inquiry" approach
to teaching physical science concepts.
