Want to know more about Inquiry Based Science and how to implement it into your Classroom?
Come join us for Dinner and a Hands-On Workshop!
Over the next several months we will be hosting workshops throughout the state. Most of these events will be scheduled after school. Please see the schedule below. Dinner will be provided.
Using research based Teaching and Learning Systems, participants will explore science concepts with hands-on activities integrated into the curriculum. With the upcoming adoption of science materials and the need to implement new standards, learning how to advance in both of these areas is paramount. These events will focus on the process of Inquiry Based Learning. CPO Science’s system consists of student textbooks, investigations manuals, teacher support materials plus FREE high-quality equipment with every purchase of 30 Student textbook sets.
The Middle School events will cover Earth Science, Life Science, and Physical Science.
The High School events will be working with Physical Science curriculum as well as an Algebra I based Physics “First” course, following the movement throughout the country to expose students to physics earlier in their academic careers.
All instruction will be conducted by experienced teachers who have implemented these systems into their classroom.
